“Hunter’s Hill Sailing Club was an amazing venue to host our wedding reception. Maureen was lovely to work with and the sailing club was extremely accommodating for all my queries and requests. The location is perfect by the water leaving our guests in awe. We would highly recommend the sailing club for any event.  Thank you again Maureen for all your help over the last few months. "Having attended a few functions at the Hunters Hill Sailing Club over the years, I settled on it as the venue for my 50th birthday party and a better choice I could not have made. From the outset Maureen was super helpful and accommodating, which made the organisation of the party so much easier. The room itself is terrific with fantastic views and there isn’t too much you can’t do when it comes to decoration and theming – arcade games, a table tennis table, a popcorn machine and glow furniture were all allowed, as was the woodfired pizza oven which served up dinner for the guests. Everyone enjoyed themselves and lots of positive comments were received regarding the sailing club and its amenities. I’d highly recommend the venue and you won’t find anyone better than Maureen when it comes to helping you organise your event there!"

"We recently held the reception for our daughter’s baptism at the club and were thrilled with our experience. The club is located on the water, so has incredible views, which our guests thoroughly appreciated (despite all the rain). There was plenty of parking for our guests and the club had everything we needed (tables, chairs, kitchen, fridges, freezers, bathroom, PA system etc.) for our event, which made set up and pack up so easy. Maureen and David from the club were a pleasure to deal with. Both went above and beyond to make sure our event was a success. No ask was too big! David assisted us last minute when we had trouble (user error) gaining access and Maureen was always so responsive via phone or text with any questions we had. We are so grateful to the team, and will definitely look to use the club again for events we have in the future."

"What a fantastic venue for a party. Stunning views over the harbour at sunset, a really well equipped and clean venue inside and out, and really easy booking and staff to work with in helping create the perfect party. The outdated website doesn't do the stunning venue any justice, but it looks like they are adding more photos to capture the great location etc."

"We hired the venue for a wedding. The room came up beautifully. It's a great location, with lovely views, and loads of natural light with the lights of the city as the light fades, Maureen was terrific to work with, with loads of parking, privacy, no noise issues, a large dance floor and the price reasonable. Highly recommended."

“WOW, what an ambience!” Maureen is the venue contact & is an absolute pleasure to work with.  Visiting the club, we were also helped by the president & other members of the club in accessing the venue at different times.  Everyone was always willing to please. The size of the venue is amazing, facilities are great eg: dance floor, good sized kitchen with ample fridge space, tables, chairs, beautiful balcony, bar tables & sound system.  My daughter was married in the Horses Paddock right next door to the club making the event very easy & accessible for all wedding guests.  We used the services of Piquant Catering, Floranectar Flowers & Fairytale Events & again flawless service by all. We were extremely happy with all aspects of our daughter’s wedding & it was topped off by, picture-perfect weather on the day.  We would highly recommend the HHSC."

"Many many of our guests have told us... Best party they've been to for a very long time!!!! It was a bit of work to organise but the flexibility of the venue allowed us to arrange the perfect catering, decoration and the fantastic Mandarin band .....all at a beautiful location right next to the harbour. What more can we ask for. ....oh and Maureen was a pleasure to work with to make sure everything was in order before, during and after the event. Thank you so much!"

"We celebrated a major milestone in our family when my grandad turned 100. We chose to celebrate at the Hunters Hill Sailing Club which was a brilliant choice. 130 guests were easily accommodated at a catered sit-down function and stand-up pre-lunch drinks. Many guests have very positive feedback. Maureen was very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process and gave great recommendations and suggestions to make the day a really special occasion.
